I’m thinking of someone, no matter what age, girl or woman, who has grace and style, clothes that are seemingly effortless but not overly chic, and a calm, but not cool demeanor. Unphased (though never rudely so) by other people’s attempts to persuade or rouse her, as someone else wrote here. A woman who knows how to experience the joie de vivre, indulges in her own romantic streak, is maybe a bit eccentric too (there’s too little of that these days). Stereotypical? I don’t for a moment think that such personality traits come with a certain nationality. But that doesn’t mean I can’t learn something about femininity and grace from Julie Delpy or Juliette Binoche, on screen, that I don’t see too often around here…
