    Yay! Got my 5D! 19 months ago

    I bought this a couple of weeks ago and WOW is it an awesome camera. The first thing you notice is how big and bright everything looks through the viewfinder. The full frame is just marvelous. A perfect match for my 24-70 f2.8 L lens. I’m in love!

    I currently have the Canon Digital Rebel XT (350D). It is a very good starter digital SLR. With its 1.6x crop factor, however, the lenses perform differently than on a standard 35mm film camera. The 5D has a full frame sensor that acts like the film cameras. The big difference is that the 5D costs around $3k. :)
