Art fairs are going okay. I think for the winter I’m going to store them away in a coffee shop setting- on display somewhere- and use prints of the work to develop sidelines of practical items. Focusing less on the paintings themselves and more on developing a product line of sorts.
People doing this are also doing these things:

This painting was done on 3/27/08. I thought I would try different types of styles of art to see what I really enjoy and which I am really good at. Please leave your feedback. Thank You.
I sold a few things at a local gallery.
I’m setting aside time to paint and create, to work on my style and develop new skills. I’m applying for small-town art fairs and summer shows. Hopefully that will launch me in a forward direction.
I loved doing this painting. I love the colors in the sky and the way the man is just relaxing and taking a break to enjoy the view. I never put people in my paintings. I usually paint places I would want to be. Nobody to bother you, just the sound of the wind, water, birds, etc. I am not a professional artist. I do this in my spare time in between taking care of my house and my family. I hope you enjoy this as much as I do.

Sold for £100. now what!! i need more time to paint and make more effort selling them
I have sold quite a few paintings this year. All but two in fact, and one was never offered for sale so that’s pretty good. I have temporarily let go of trying to do prints so in the coming year I will be creating pieces for sale and also holding some back to prepare for an exhibit next Fall.
I’m ticking this goal off my list but will be replacing it with a more encompassing art related goal.
