dancetoyourownbeat love just ends in hurt, what's the point
I have been taking photos each day since 1st Jan 2009. It gets hard sometimes but I’m keen to see the end result!
How I did it: Two of my friends completed this goal in 2008, and I found out about it in January so I'd already missed half the month so I decided 2009 would be the year I'd do this project. Basically, it's pretty simple! You take a photo (or lots of photos) everyday for one year (it needn't be from Jan 1, you can start from your birthday or a special holiday or religious celebration if you are so inclined or really any random day of the year!). You can do this in a number of themes. It could just be something you did that day, or someone you hung out with, which it what I did. You could just take a photo of yourself in the same position for a year, to witness how you've changed over the year (I guess you could also do this with a place, like your room or a special place). You could take really posed but beautifully artistic photos if you have skills like that (and the time/patience/motivation). You could also just aim randomly and take just one photo per day for the project, ala photo jogging in Yes Man. There are so many ways to do this project that I think it's something you have to figure out on your own! It may not be clear at the beginning, but after a few months you'll realise what kind of photo-a-day you are undertaking. Good luck!
Lessons & tips: The hardest part is keeping up the motivation to find a photo of something everyday. In the beginning it's really easy to get excited and take photos of everything and anything, but 6 months on, and your routine is so repetitive and you already have 10 thousand photos of your dog or the sunset or whatever, it's hard to believe it's worth doing. I guess I'm the kind of person that once I have my heart set on doing something, I love to see it through to the end - it makes me proud. Not to mention, a lot of your photos will probably be of similar things, which perhaps will highlight what's important in your life, and that's not such a bad thing.
Resources: My camera (a simple digital camera, nothing fancy!), storage on my computer (make sure you have lots of room if that's where you are going to store them!). Googling other people's projects was interesting too, under terms like photo a day, project 365, etc.

I’ve already taken my picture for the day, and posted it on a new blog. I plan on doing this for the rest of the year, and seeing where it takes me. If I feel it’s something that I truly enjoy, then I’ll keep doing it. But I’m just going to stick with the year of 2008 for now
inn is le sigh
Inspired by Alice and her version of it this year I would like to do the same. It’s been strange but wonderful to see it unfold as the year goes on.
It’ll be nice to document a year like that, a photo a day, each to represent or sum it up, that’s the target.
I will start on 1st January 2008. Year 2007 has been the Year of no men so Year 2008 will be the year of the photo haha..
Origionally the idea was to just take one random picture everyday for a year, however many people suggested i take this picture with myself in it. Then not only am i going to get 365 random pictures but itll be agood way to document all the changes in myself physically over one year. Sort of like day to day you dont see changes but then all the sudden your like “wow when did that happen.”
