I took a class that was offered at my college. It is a beautiful ceremony with strict rules… people really REALLY get into it… like it become their everything. Its pretty cool… the green tea is very very bitter but the cafinee rush is amazing also the sweets are awesome too.

I joined a tea ceremony club last November. Up until now, I have only been allowed to watch and drink tea. This week I started learning how to fold the red cloth cloth that is used to clean the matcha scoop and matcha container. There are about 20 steps involved just in foling/unfolding the napkin.
