In the book Good Faery, Bad Faery, it talks about how fairies don’t actually use their wings to fly. The good ones are powered solely by their spirits of joy and goodness. Though they’re beautiful, the wings only represent what is on the inside; their real power. I think it’s very profound—the concept that it’s what’s on the inside that makes you fly! 7 years ago
