There is a new movie called Precious that has recently come out, and today I read the book that it was based off of. Push by Sapphire was a very good, yet sad, book. I’m looking forward to seeing the movie since I enjoyed reading the book so much. Thirteen books to go.

I have been neglecting my 43Things lately, but I haven’t been slacking on my reading. In the past weeks I have read Fast Food Nation by Eric Schlosser, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time by Mark Haddon, Church of Lies by Flora Jessop, and I’m Perfect, You’re Doomed by Kyria Abrahams. As usual, I enjoyed the books that I read; each one being very different from the others. Fourteen books to go.
Last week I completed Queen Bees and Wannabes by Rosalind Wiseman. This book is about struggles many girls may go through growing up, with cliques, relationships, and many other things. I found that some aspects of this book rang true from my life, which was very interesting. It was worth reading. Eighteen books to go.
Yesterday evening I finished reading Bright Shiny Morning by James Frey. This book is about the lives of people living in LA; it isn’t about just one person, there are many different stories. I enjoyed this book, and would recommended it. Nineteen books to go.

If I’m honest. I’m way to lazy to read a book. So I decided to set myself a target to read 20 books. Right now I’m not sure which books though. I have a few books around the house now that I quite fancy reading. 2 Jackie Collins Novels (if these are books), the Hitchhikers Guide series and The Complete History of Everything. Cant remember the author, but I’m thinking I could see how I go with those first, just to get me into the mood.
16.)Goodnight Nobody: A Novel
17.)She’s Not There: A Life in Two Genders
18.)Looking For Alaska

3/20 I’m slowly getting there!
I don’t know if this will happen, since I seem to like only watching TV, but I was thinking if I start reading again, I might get back some of the brain cells I lost watching 6,000 episodes of Law and Order.
