Design and build a house

Well, this is probably far off in the future for me. I really want to do this and have my heart set on a classical design, something like the Juárez Theater in Guanajuato, pictured above (minus the rooftop statues, though)....

i want to be the architect, interior designer, and part of the actual construction and manual labor.

a few different times actually. It’ll most likely be many years before I actually get to do the building part though.

our next homes. I helped some with the kitchen and bathroom. I like that this is his project, after all, he is the architect. I just like being able to have as much input as I do.

My boyfriend did a good basic drawing of how our house will be. I’m sure how it is will change when we actually put measurements to it, but now we know what we ideally want.

We have our own apartment. It’s great because we’re 24 and have our own house. But it’s an apartment. We just bought a big lot of land. I’m so excited. I am starting to design our real house. I’m going to have a backyard!!!!!!!!!!! I’m so happy!!!!!!!!

My brother and I built it, together! At times it was painful but now that it is complete, what a pleasure it was!!!!

this has always been a goal of mine and i hope that i eventually have enough money to build a house that i designed myself
