read ten books

Two so far, but I’ve already read them: Harry Potters 5 and 6 in preparation for the film (next week!!). I haven’t been in the mood for much heavier stuff, nor have I had the energy. But I need to read at least two more to win prizes from the library.

I read Good Harbor by Anita Diamant! Now this goal is finished.

I read Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim by David Sedaris. Only one more to go! I have added so many new books to my list recently. I don’t buy new books anymore though and I couldn’t find any of the ones I wanted at the library book sale. I’m not excited about any of the books on my shelves. However, I can’t wait to read tons of the books on my long, long list. Sigh. I don’t have enough money to go out and buy all of those and there is not a used book store around here that’s any good. I guess I’ll be getting a lot from local libraries because there’s only two books that I have here at home that seem appealing.

I read the Polysyllabic Spree in two days. Yes, I know I am reading them out of order. But all is well in this case. I can’t wait to gobble up Shakespeare Wrote for Money…one of these days.

I read Nick Hornby’s Housekeeping vs. the Dirt. What is this? Number 7?

I finished Barrel Fever by David Sedaris last night. That makes this what 6 books? I’ve lost track…

I quit the A-Z Author Challenge; it was frustrating. I might do it sometime in my life, just not now.
