How I did it: I waited a long time, about two years because I got the idea when i was around 16. I turned 18 years old five days ago and I got it done last night. I'm definitely glad I waited. The place I went to was clean, professional and very friendly. I hardly felt anything at all but the swelling afterward was killer.Talking was hard last night and I'm pretty hungry as I haven't eaten many solid foods today. Milkshakes and ice are your friends! How I did it: Well, my subconscious knew i'd do it because my conscious did, and i will always be the type of person that will be curious about the more daring things in life. I want to do things once, at least, to merely satisfy my curiosity. My boyfriend I have to say helped me realize it because he repeated how he'd like that very much. I didn't do it just for him though. I was curious, mainly. It's been 3 weeks and I am just getting used to it, but… Read how I did it…

How I did it: When i started a new school, I made a friend who had a friend that had a friend that worked at a tattoo/piercing shop. I told her that i always wanted a piercing and since i Just turned 18, I figured %^&)* my parents imma do it. Plus the guy said he would do it for free since i was a friend of a friend of a friend lol. I asked my bf at the time whether or not i should do it and he said "yeah.. it'll be sexy. do it." How I did it: I did it on a whim while in St Andrews one day... can't say much more about it... The mouthwash, if swallowed, apparently causes a reflex action in your asophagous which causes it to close(much like if you swallow fire) and you die! *rock'n'roll* Read how I did it…

lol, i’ve wanted this since i was like 7. Both of my sisters had them, so i guess i wanted to be like them. But now i just want to get one cause they look so damn cute! :)
Just gotta talk my parents into it, so far that’s not going well. My mom absolutely hates them. Sometimes i wonder if were even related!
- tooth damage
- possible tongue numbness
- retainer for job interviews?
hmmm, i’ve just been reading up on this a bit, but it seems so out there as far as the numbness or nerve damage goes…
I’ve wanted this for quite some time. It’s just so hard to take in all of the risks that deal with having it done, namely the fact that you could have nerve damage.
I have a feeling this is something I will always want but will never actually do…

Got it a while ago and trust me…its worth it…:D makes me feel like a bit of a rebel which i guess i am,,, cause noone would think i would get it…

I got it haha and forgot all about this site, but I’m back to it and already got my tongue done in like April. Picture! That’s me, before I cut my hair, and my ex-girlfriend. Yeah she had it too…oh and don’t confused her with my first girlfriend, she died last August. But anywayyy, I got it done and that’s what’s important! xD
Got my tongue about a year ago…also have my tongue webbing and 17 others including lots on my ears, tri-navel and nape… Tongue is minimal pain and worth doing (if you can handle swellng and not eating for a few days). Its been a year and at times i want to take it out beacuse it gets annoying. But i love it.

well, i got it so spontaneously.. i drove home after a seemingly bad day at school.. so i decided right then and there to get a new pierce..
i suddenly thought of having my tongue pierced, and so i went with it..
i didnt have a problem with swelling the first day, but it ended up swelling the following day until the week after! eating wasnt a big problem for me, especially when you have dinner you cant resist! hmm, pizza!
man, my lisp was MAJOR though… that is until i got the barbell replaced.. im fine now.. feels like nothing in my mouth :)
oh, advise: dont just get one RIGHT away… think about it for a week first.. cuz in my case, i forgot i had 2 school presentations two days later.. so i went on presenting with a FRIKIN lisp :P
funny.. but hey, my audience understood. i told em my tongue’s “swelling” which, really did, btw…
