pierce my tongue

I got it haha and forgot all about this site, but I’m back to it and already got my tongue done in like April. Picture! That’s me, before I cut my hair, and my ex-girlfriend. Yeah she had it too…oh and don’t confused her with my first girlfriend, she died last August. But anywayyy, I got it done and that’s what’s important! xD

Got my tongue about a year ago…also have my tongue webbing and 17 others including lots on my ears, tri-navel and nape… Tongue is minimal pain and worth doing (if you can handle swellng and not eating for a few days). Its been a year and at times i want to take it out beacuse it gets annoying. But i love it.

well, i got it so spontaneously.. i drove home after a seemingly bad day at school.. so i decided right then and there to get a new pierce..

i suddenly thought of having my tongue pierced, and so i went with it..

i didnt have a problem with swelling the first day, but it ended up swelling the following day until the week after! eating wasnt a big problem for me, especially when you have dinner you cant resist! hmm, pizza!

man, my lisp was MAJOR though… that is until i got the barbell replaced.. im fine now.. feels like nothing in my mouth :)

oh, advise: dont just get one RIGHT away… think about it for a week first.. cuz in my case, i forgot i had 2 school presentations two days later.. so i went on presenting with a FRIKIN lisp :P

funny.. but hey, my audience understood. i told em my tongue’s “swelling” which, really did, btw…

I got mine pierced 8 weeks ago and I love it! It’s so pretty but really easy to hide too :)

i so love this piercing. harder to eat icecream though and the barbell got really cold while skiing and really hot when i had coffee. But i love it.

I’ve been thinking about doing this for a little over a year now. Why? Maybe because it’s not something people think I would get. I’m more of a rebel than even I know. I think it would be fun. Besides, it would fix my oral fixation, no?

I had this idea in the back of my head for a while and I did it just last Friday. Oddly enough, it didn’t hurt. I didn’t even know the needle was through until he said, “aand done.” The clamp hurt more!
It’s nice because if you have an oral fixation where something always has to be in your mouth, it seems to have a way of distracting you from your habit of choice. Mine was biting my fingers and I’ve had no urge since.
The swelling is a bit much for the first 3 days and it’s hard to eat then too. I recommend learning to make smoothies! They’re filling and you just drink them. Just omit yogurt so you aren’t at risk for infection.
