The clothes are in the bags 3 months ago

and all labeled. The shoes are in the rack. The dresses and jackets are hanging up. It’s just a nice feeling to be able to find what you want when you want it.
If McMartyr moves out I’ll have even MORE room in my new walk in closet.

think I'll have DIY girl 3 months ago

make all of the lables for the bags while ADD boy is at the tutor instead of watching The Price is Right. We can’t even make fun of the people when they say “ONE DOLLAR BOB!” anymore.

we say it like the character from snl ;)

Most of my clothes are 18 months ago

either in the dresser or in the closet. I’m doing laundry so the vicious cycle continues…..

I still want to get every little thing put away before I’m completely satisfied. I have all the things sorted and put in large ziplock bags. I just need to figure out where to put them in the new dresser? I have too many drawers?
18 all together, it’s so confusing??!!??

McSmarty wants to sell my desk but I told him to sell the cooking cart that is in the entry holding junk and put the desk in what is now DIY girls room(it used to be the office) when we add on more room for her room.
I hope we survive a remodel.

HALF A DAY! 20 months ago

    I WISH!
    Shoot!
I’m on day three. I have most of my clothes in piles in my living room. Unfortunately, my pets feel that they need to lay on my clean clothes and shed some fur love on them as they nap. I have been sneezing the whole time and it sucks cause I’m allergic to dust. I can just put my pants and shorts in my drawers but my tops need to go into plastic bags. Even if they have not been worn for like two weeks it’s bad enough to set me off :( My Bother said his has gotten the just as bad.

I first started off with the Space Bags but they are expensive and the big one rip easily. The ones with the ‘suck out the air valve’ never seem to fit any of my vacuum attachments. Just pushing out the air works just as well. I just bought some Hefty 2 1/2 gal one zip bags. I can put in a stack of a dozen white folded t-shirts :) I also have the Ziploc Big Bags with the handles at the top. I can put 6 bulky winter sweaters in one of those.
DIY girl in going through all of her clothes right now too. Her little friend is helping her sort,so that she can finish faster and they can walk the two dogs.(of course I told SHARON! that now DIY girl with have to help clean out HER daughters drawers now ;) Our living room likes like a cross between an animal shelter and the back room of Salvation Army :O

I have to add 22 months ago

that when I Daddy drove out my Nonna’s beautiful Ethan Allen bedroom set. He dumped all of my clothes out of my dresser and onto my bed while we were on vaca for 2 weeks. He then move moved my former dresser up to DIY girl’s room and crammed a long full sized dresser with mirror(unattached), a tall lingerie chest, a cedar chest, two nightstands and 2 lamps into my room.

OM word! I just moved my former nightstand upstairs this week to be used as a end table. (McPoophead moved his months ago) So the new ones are in place but now the old end tables have been displaced. Not to mention the three cute covered benches. I had one where the cedar chest is now and the others two were moved when the Flat screen was mounted to the wall which meant I could rearrange my sofa for the first time in 14 years!

Sorry I’m getting off of my point…

I guess what I’m saying is that I like for everything to be organized and have a place. I just don’t seem to get any help.

I had our family counselor sit with everyone. They all said,”Oh yeah we’ll help” but when it came time to do so, it just never happened. The as far as my mother’s helper. She has been busy with her other job and UCLA. Plus I get to play. Donde est? because WE can never find anything.

Now my clothes have been sitting out of the dresser and closet space bags(keeping my tops, which are close to my face. in them is more important then my bottoms) I have to go and wash everything but the stuff that I have been wearing over and over.

I'm really good about doing this 2 years ago

I have allergies, so I use Space Bags. I have mothers helpers and they are so lazy. They just pile everybody’s clothes in the rooms!
    AARRGG!!!

    i guess i am a bit anal :s

    xxx.

    Diving in... 3 years ago

I did six loads of laundry yesterday and re-organized a large part of the closet. Once the giant pile has receded, I will hopefully be able to do a load a day or every other day, thus making life a little easier.
