"Let's start at the very beginning
A very good place to start..."
I got out my trusty (and freshly decluttered) sewing kit and my basket of Holiness and sewed everything up. All done. That’s what.
"La, a note to follow sew..."
I think I’ll go have some tea now. With jam. And bread.
Bought drawstring for Brandons shorts and inserted, making new openings on the front for the drawstring to come out and cinch up. He wears the shorts every day at home. I better make him soem more pairs.
Used up huntery mossy green interlock to make very dressy very soft very comfy maternity pants.
Finished front of quilt, have chosen fabric and pattern for the back of the quilt.
Almost decided about what to use for quilt batt – cotton batting vs polar fleece.
plan to use up blue rib knit fabric to make another maternity pant.
I have to get a new over the shoulder bag sewn for myself before the baby is born – NOT ENOUGH HANDS TO CARRY A BAG WITH HANDLES!
finished Brandon’s cargo shorts this weekend. Did you know there are 10 individual seams in each cargo pocket on those shorts? That doesn’t include top stitching!! They are WAY too big for him so I need to buy a drawstring elastic and a drawstring elastic clincher thingamabob for the front. ACK. I hate loose ends with sewing projects. He has worn them every day since I finished them, so that tells me he does like them, even if he can’t keep them from falling off right now.
I got one pair of maternity pants cut out. I was going to start to sew them, but I didn’t have any empty bobbins.
I pulled out my patchwork quilt and emptied three barely there bobbins of light colored thread putting the last of the front together.
SO the front is done, and I packed it away again for another rainy day…..
I didn’t get any farther on my maternity pants. I put all my sewing stuff away this morning before work.

Don’t know where one scout patch goes, but I’m marking this as done and taking it off my list.
VangoesEverywhere is baking cookies
Where do all these obscure scout patches go? I’ve been all over the net looking.
Makes me think I should invent a “43 things” uniform we all could wear, and merit badges we could earn and sew on.
Would help at all those 43 things conventions we have . . .

Need to mend daughters camisole

Waaaaaaay overdue sewing those darn scout patches on his uniform!
