attend the 43T/Carrick party today 10/5/2005 at 4pm @ The Elysian

So there’s no reason to have it still on my list of things to do. Sorry Carrick, I’ll meet you one of these days. Maybe still at the Elysian, but probably not on 10/5/2005. Although maybe when this happens.

Carrick further reinforced his legendary status in the world of 43 Things at last night’s party. We drank, chatted, drank and took pictures. What fun.

Thanks to everyone who came and to the Robots for buying the drinks. I had such a good time I forgot to eat (although that porter could almost qualify as food). Feeling a bit woozy this morning. I’m probably not the only one.

In one night I completed a goal, went to two new places, and met ten new people. And I’m ready to do it it again.

Whoops. I just noticed this goal name has the wrong date in it. The party is tonight, October 5.

I don’t know who this Carrick person is nor do I care. (And what kind of name is Carrick anyway? Sounds made up.) I just want to hang with the Robots over a beer and ask them what it’s all leading to. Why are we here? What’s it all for? And will it be full of stars?

You know I wish I could. I’m still in Monroe, Louisiana at the Red Cross staff shelter. I’m definitely going to try to get out to Seattle this year though.

I’ll be down in Cupertino tomorrow, but enjoy the beer! Carrick and I will have to meet some other time. :(

This party is open to any 43 enthusiasts. We’re throwing an impromtu party in honor of one of our longtime users, Carrick. Details:
