The best concert of all my life. 3 hours! Impressive! I don´t think I could see any other better gig since that and even more, it was on my birthday!

He needs to better serve his fans, namely me.
Tom Waits tickets went on sale yesterday at 10am. I chose not to attempt to buy them because I knew I wouldn’t be able to afford the entire trip. The tickets alone were going to run me $70-$110 each after fees and depending on seating, and the trip down to Atlanta, the venue we’d most likely be able to charge off to, would have been highly expensive whether we drove ourselves or took public tran all the way from up here in South Jersey.
I hope after his European leg, he decides to tour the nothern part of the US. You know, some New York, some Pennsylvania, maybe….

Tom came to Asheville, NC last year. I was online trying to buy tickets the second they went on sale and snagged them, but the show sold out in 30 minutes. I haven’t been to another concert of any kind since then. How could anything compare to that?

Well, with his new album and all I expect/beg him to come round pretty soon. I found out too late he was doing a gig in my country with the last tour, but I am ever-watchful now. I just have to see him live.

Admittedly, I added this to my list because I knew it was imminent. He didn’t play much old stuff, which made me sad, but he closed with “Time” – my favorite song of all time.
