Empress Falls Canyoning Expedition

I did it! Canyoning the beautifull Empress Falls canyon in the pristine Blue Mountains South West of Sydney.
After a morning learning to abseil we jumped into our wetsuits, packed up our clothes in a dry bag and set off on our expedition. We scrambled over rocks, jumped backwards between two rock faces into a pool of water two metres below, waded through running water and finally abseiled down the wall of a thirty metre beautiful waterfall dropping eight metres into the pool below.
An absolutely thrilling day out… So much fun!! Such a wonderful way to see the Australian bushland. I would recommend it to anybody with e good fitness level.
I look forward to canyoning and trekking all around the world.
