Went to Franchise expo last Sunday (July 13), and we probably would go for Tender Juicy hotdog stand or some food cart, starting Jan ‘09. Next steps:

Developing a plan to open a franchise within 3 years. Looking at a conventional loan or SBA loan at the moment. I will go to my local small business development center to gain start up information and ideas.
I would like to own my own business and one of the easiest methods of doing this is to buy into an already established business. I am investigating this but I have to find some way of working full time and getting the business up and running. The car and house note still have to get paid. Maybe a Coffee house or drive through. Where there is a will there is a way. Wish me luck!
