own a franchise

depending on the location –
1. could create jobs,
2. give financial stability and validation to a community.
3. help me escape the oppression of working for someone else.
4. the franchise could stay in the family.

Went to Franchise expo last Sunday (July 13), and we probably would go for Tender Juicy hotdog stand or some food cart, starting Jan ‘09. Next steps:
- Get a partner to invest (or loan)
- Visit the franchiser for more info

Developing a plan to open a franchise within 3 years. Looking at a conventional loan or SBA loan at the moment. I will go to my local small business development center to gain start up information and ideas.

I would like to own my own business and one of the easiest methods of doing this is to buy into an already established business. I am investigating this but I have to find some way of working full time and getting the business up and running. The car and house note still have to get paid. Maybe a Coffee house or drive through. Where there is a will there is a way. Wish me luck!
