How I did it: Triathlons are a lot like strip clubs, they always sound like a great idea, a sound investment and a wonderful tradeoff for endorphins vs. effort; until you actually get there.
The water temp for this swim leg was 62 degrees, and the only thing that kept me from immediately turning around and going home was thinking of my brother in law and the surf torture he is going to endure going through B.U.D.S in the Navy.
