send a secret to post secret

My city ended up on his 2011 Touring Schedule!
His presentation was amazing and incredibly inspiring.
I have never wanted to contribute more to this project than after hearing that man speak. If you are ever given the chance,I highly recommend seeing him!!

I did this yesterday, and it felt really, really good. I sent two secrets, actually, written (by hand) on postcards I made from photos I found on the internet. (I didn’t want to use photos I’d taken, or if they ever get posted to the website, someone I know might recognize them).

It felt awesome to drop those cards in the box. One of my secrets is something that scares me; the other is a thought I have that’s possibly not very kind. I loved being able to release both of them.

I’m actually suprised… one day I just made some post cards, took a few I had already done, and ended up mailing 3 secrets into Postsecret. All I can hope now is that they may be posted, in the hopes that they may help someone else, or share someone else’s secrets along with my own. 4 years ago
