Been drinking coffee for years now. Every since then I’ve always wanted to learn how to make coffee.
People doing this are also doing these things:

Last semester I’d make a trip to starbucks every morning. I’d order an Americano with Hazelnut. I’d ordered a plain hazelnut latte everyday until one day I heard the woman in front of me order the Americano, so i tried it and loved it. I want to know the inter workings of a coffee shot. I want to know the difference between an espresso and that thing with lots of foam. I want to know what has how many shots, and which ones they automatically put sugar in.
I don’t care if i get paid 7 and hour… i want to do it.
i worked in a cofee shop, still do actually. i dont enjoy it at all. getting burnt all day, people with confusing orders, angry customers and it takes so long to make a perfect cofee, late or cap. its worth a try i guess but if i had a choice i would wouldnt work there anymore.

Had my interview today and was hired on the spot! Woo hoo!
Cheryl is revamping her list! Again.
Just recieved a call from the manager and I’ve got an interview set up for Friday after work. I had to tell my boss yesterday that I was pursuing a second job for nights and weekends and he not only was fine with it but said if he were younger he’d do the same thing. It turns out his son used to work there and his sister in law currently works there and loves it. Small world.

I called my favorite coffee shop this morning to ask if they were hiring. Not only were they hiring but they are specifically looking for people for nights and weekends which is exactly what I am looking for. I filled out an application and I’m taking it over there in the next hour or so.
I’m really excited about doing this! It’s basically the perfect time for me to pick up a second job since I don’t have any responsibilities at home anymore and it would help me save up money for a down payment on a house and then maybe a travel fund.
I used to juggle three jobs during college so I know I would be able to handle this.

Although I have a job that I love, if it were financially possible, I would quit and open up my own coffee shop. Not really possible at this juncture though because unfortunately, it would mean a big cut in pay. The next best thing would be to work for one on a part time basis I suppose.

I make a trip to coffee bean every morning. I simply order a latte because of my lack of coffee knowledge. I want to know the inter workings. I want to know the difference between an espresso and that thing with lots of foam.

I love coffee and I love working with people, it seems like a realistic goal.
I’m not working in a coffee shop yet, but I work at a hookah bar which I consider to be somewhat similar…okay, well maybe…
