put money into savings regularly

I’ve opened up a bank account with another bank and am ONLY using it 4 savings.. I normally use my Wells account for bills, etc so I’m hoping if I don’t see it.. I wont think about it when my shopping impulse strikes .. * curses the mall and my willpower * =)

I started an automatic savings plan and tripled my savings this year. It’s definitely going to help with that pesky goal of buying a house.

The economy is getting really ugly, and while I don’t think my job will be directly affected by the economic downturn, it’s better to be safe than sorry. I want to start putting away at least $100 a month.

Actually I put money in savings every month. I’m very regular about putting money into savings. The problem is not in putting it there, but in keeping it there.

Wanted to do this six times. We’ll call this one my first since I had to take money out last month.

Ran into an unexpected money pinch. So I only have one deposit into savings. Ouch! Didn’t do it this month, may actually have to take money OUT of savings….or put it on the good old credit card…

Want to put money away from at least six paychecks to consider this “done”, because by then, it will be a habit. But every time I take money out, I’m going to have ot add a paycheck…etc. Did this on last paycheck, and intend to do it today, too…so that’s two.

I keep wanting stuff, instead of organizing and being thankful for the things I already have.

If it weren’t for the $300 gas bills!!!

I make too little and spend too much. Came from a very wealthy family but being on my own I still have bad habits. Fortunately I know I’ll never go bankrupt and homeless but I’d like to learn how to get better at saving and investing.
