be saved

I have been going to church ever since I was in my mom’s womb. Yet, I don’t think I have been saved—-there’s something missing when I praise and worship. No joy or feeling of gratefulness. Yes, I have gone to retreats, do QT everday, listen to sermons, go to church every Sunday, and am even the daughter of an elder. but something is definitely lacking in my life and I want it, no, I need it.

These last few days ive been down a bit, with work and the stres of the upcumming exams. I feel like theres a certain aspect missing in my life, dont know what but i feel it. Im not a depressed guy or any thing, i just feel i need to be saved by some event or heroin(not the drug).
It might sound childish or what not, but i want super powers so i can escape the boringnes that is my life.
Controling time would be pretty cool…

The Lord can save your life! Jesus loves you and wants you to go to heaven and stay with Him for all eternity. Before I got saved I was a horrible person, I wasn’t living my life well at all… drugs and alcohol – now my life is clean and I life my life spending my time for the Lord instead of doing bad things. The Lord can save you and change your life for the better – don’t hesitate in seeking him! Hes waiting for you! :)

I got saved at the age of 13. I was watching the Saturday morning Kids Club on TBN (christian tv station) and in between the break, they gave a one minute shpeil about the importance of giving your life to Christ and explained (for the first time with CLARITY) what it meant to BE saved. They led the viewers into a prayer and I gave my life to Christ right then and there. After years of being ‘churched’ it took a hand puppet and Jan Crouch to bring me to the Lord!

The day I was saved was the best day of my life here on earth. It felt like the weight of the world was lifted off of my shoulders. I found my best friend that day and you know what? He will never tell anyone your secrets.

If you don’t do anything else on your list, you need to do this. It is THE most important thing anyone can do.

John 3:3 ” Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he CANNOT see the kingdom of God.”

Born again means you repent (turn away from your sin). You become a new person. You no longer want the sin and bad things in your life.

2 Corinthians 5:17 ” Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

2 Peter 3:9-10 “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is long-suffering to us ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, and the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.”

Ephesians 2:8-9 ” For by GRACE are ye saved through FAITH; and that not of yourselves: _it is _ the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should bost.”

I pray that you understand this and that you receive God’s FREE gift of salvation.

Why would anyone go to hell and burn there for all eternity for their sins when Jesus Christ or Lord went there and paid for them already?

If you were in a grocery store would you pay for your groceries again, if the person ahead of you paid the cashier for your groceries already?
