write in a journal everyday

easier said then done 5 months ago

This is my first time on this site and let me tell you I am already conjuring up new ideas. I do not know anyone who writes everyday, but maybe since it is such a personal thing more people do it then we think. I have tried to keep a journal but between work and wrapping up my college career I felt too busy. Has anyone successfully done this for an extended period of time? I planned on starting this my 23rd birthday (this past month) but I get so distracted. Any advice?

My life in words 17 months ago

I first started writting my journals aged 9 and stoped when i reached 19. Althoug at the start it was jus about silly boys i liked and how awful it would b if i didint marry him. Throughout the years i learned to write about what really mattered, feelings, thoughts different emotions. Reading back i realised i was slightly unhappy about my life in general and now whenever i have a bad day i go back and read them, just to make myself feel better. Life really does go on, even if its said so by a 9 year old.

i’ve read that its healthy to keep a journal everyday. i know a lot of people who do it. whether it is something i’ve done or just something i’ve heard someone say that inspires me it really doesn’t matter. it could even be something like a flower or a returant take out menu that represents something. i just need to start.

My expressions and emotions put into words,
made to share.
To feel the words of knowledge.

Long live the memories 2 years ago

I write every day and will look back on it to see what I did back then, or how fun or sad it was and where I went or who I spoke to and met. All is good either way. Maybe even write a book or song on part of it?

i used to write everything down 4 years ago

i can’t even remember how long it’s been since i’ve kept a journal… i wish i did though… it would help me remember the small things in life… plus i like the idea of someday, someone going through my stuff, and reading about my life, from MY point of view… it’s one thing to hear about someone’s life, it’s an entirely different thing to hear their perspective…

that will be my new year’s resolution for 2006
