I’ve been going to the farmer’s market every week, on either Wednesday or Saturday morning now… Saturdays are best, because one of the vendors there sells warm, spicy samosas to eat while you shop. We’ve had fabulous feasts of heirloom tomato salad with fresh basil & goat cheese, garlicy spaghetti squash, ratatouille, fresh eggs for omelettes and crisp cider this week. Whole Foods market is great—but nothing in comparison to talking to the person that grew what you’ll be eating for dinner.
