Karen Today is a good day.
Started eating a baggie of cut up carrots and celery on the way to work. And home… I’m a little over full and bloated now from muching so much raw fruits and veggies, and chugging water all day. But I feel good about having around 5 servings today. Had mandarin oranges with cottage cheese for break fast, carrots and celery on the way to work, a banana at work, and apple on the way home, and the rest of the carrots and celery. Gonna try for the same tomorrow. Minus the stomach discomfort…

Karen Today is a good day.
Carrots and Red Bell pepper with Hummus. SO delicious. And a heap of steamed broccoli with dinner. Although it kinda defeats the porpoise of this goal…. it still counts for something.

Karen Today is a good day.
Today. They are just the perfect food. And had some carrot sticks…. I think that’s all of my fresh fruits and veggies for the day. I just got some fresh spinach and want to try and eat some everyday. And I’ll start writing it all down here…

Cal is looking forward with joy and apprehension.
I have been eating some dried fruit and nuts for snacks, which may be stretching the “raw” part. But have also been eating baby carrots and grapes. We will go on a road trip in September where this will really be tested, it is just too easy to eat at McDonalds. )-:

Cal is looking forward with joy and apprehension.
With all of the “convenience foods” available it is easy to do things the quick way, to just pop a TV dinner into the microwave and not worry about shopping for something that needs to be properly cared for. Today however I am eating oatmeal for breakfast, along with grapes and a grapefruit. My wife has been away taking care of our daughter and new granddaughter, so I have been left on my own. When I am the only one eating it is easy to not eat properly.
