How to expand my music collection
How I did it:
- I listened to music from different genres
- I researched the Top 100 songs of different years.
- I listened to different music while online to see if i liked them.
Lessons & tips:
- You will know if you like a song within the first 10-30 seconds.
- Don't always listen to the popular songs.

i recently bought a new cd..
I saw a small show of Lucas Carpenter playing, so I picked up his latest album.. it’s great :] I’m so happy that I accidentally found him while passing by the cafe lol ^^
I actually talked to him for 10 to fifteen minutes about his music and school. He was so sweet, and I asked him if he could sign my cd xD
alexw07 is going to a record sale today!
I just added a hip-hop/jazz/brass band to my collection, which I never would have imagined happening. I have a bunch of cds that I want to buy, but I have no money. Right now I’m satisfied, though.
My comp. just finished downloading a collection of about 450 hit songs from the 80s, and i’m havin a ball goin through them. I was in grade school in the 80s, but I can still remember some of these songs being popular. It’s laundry day for me, so i’m blastin the 80s tracks while I power through my clothes. Definitely havin a ‘movie moment’. Haven’t started dancin around the room yet, but with 80s music & dirty clothes involved, who knows whats gonna happen.
I forced myself to rip more of my CDs today. I got about 45 done and just couldn’t take it anymore. I can sit at the computer for hours when i’m working on coursework, but ripping CDs… sucks. Anyone feel like coming over to my house & makin a few bucks??
