: does anyone know why the two closed their accounts? i wasn’t around this weekend and since school started i haven’t had the time to play as much on 43T so I have no clue what might have happened.

I confirmed today that none of the robots intervened to close these 2 accounts. It appears the owners of the accounts closed them.
Personally, it’s a bummer that folks jumped to the conclusion that we were somehow punishing folks who were using the site (and saying they feared we’d punish them for saying something about it). Does it seem like that sort of place?
We’ve worked really hard to make the site a friendly and positive site for folks to share their goals with each other and we treat it all with a very light hand. In the future, if folks have a concern about a user, it would be great to have the issue brought up in clear way so we can understand the concern and look into it. Here the communication was so cryptic that it was hard to figure out what was known and who knew it.

Is there a reason folks think these two users didn’t close their accounts? I’m just wondering if someone saw or heard something the preceded the disappearance that would help us narrow the search for the cause.
The accounts aren’t deleted – just inactive – but it wouldn’t be right to turn them on if their owners wanted them closed.
What was the reason for thinking these accounts were closed by the robots? We do take down the worst of Enore’s photos, but generally we let the words slide. I’m not familiar with Oscar at all – and the comment threads here are pretty cryptic as to what people think happened to these folks.

Josh is helping us find out. Honestly, I didn’t think I’d ever hear anything from the robots and I’m here to say I was very wrong. He’s johnny-on-the-spot!
