I <3 Rent 2 years ago

I love rentttttt. I love it! I know the songs by heart. it doesnt help that I go to Adelphi University where Jonathan Larson went (the writer) and everyone loves it and sings it.

I saw it with my roomate and it was fantasticccccc!

this show is amazing… saw it on broadway four years ago. there are several experiences in my life that have pushed my emotional boundaries to the point where i could not control my physical reactions, this show provided one of them. incredible, breath-taking-there’s no way the movie even begins do the show justice-go see the show, rush for tickets—you can get third row seats for $20… true to the show’s bohemian story, Jonathon Larson wrote a provision of sorts stating that inexpensive tickets MUST ALWAYS be available for his show. and they are, to this very day. so go… seriously.

The Best Musical Ever 2 years ago

But I’ve only seen it as a movie tear. And since I love musicals, I NEED to see this one!

I’d really like to see RENT, the musical.
Live, and it’s coming to Shea’s.
In December. So hopefully I can go.
It’d be nice.

Its Awesome Live And Much Better Than The Movie.. I Saw It Before The Movie Came Out And Loved It..

Standing Ovation 3 years ago

I’ve seen Rent live twice now. I loved it in the theatre too, but the live musical was definitely a better experience. As a musician, I really appreciated the music and was constantly surprised at where it went, chord progressions, things I wouldn’t have thought of, etc. The movie left out some of the fun little musical parts too, like the answering machine messages. Definitely an unforgetable experience, one of a kind.
