I’ve been doing so great with this during the past months, but now I’m struggling… It must be the darkness and coldness and the fact that it really is autumn, soon to be winter. Or then I just need to get my energy levels higher and become more motivated.
I’d like to buy one of those “alarm clocks” that are actually lamps that are switched on some time before you should wake up. So that it’ll be a more natural awakening. Plus I think they wake you up with some nice nature sounds. But I think it would be expensive, plus I’m not sure it would fit my bedside table.

I’ve actually become better at this! I don’t know why, but I seem to have a lot of energy these days. Maybe it’s because I’ve went jogging or swimming early in the morning lately. I really enjoy it so I’ll continue!

Getting up earlier would help me in organizing my time and I know it, so I have motivation. What seems to be missing is the knowledge of that motivation at the moment I wake up…
I like the method by Steve Pavlina. The idea is to condition yourself to get up immediately before your brain has time to protest. It worked for me before and I think I need to try it again.
I want to wake up feeling well rested, so I also need to go to bed early enough and listen some relaxing music. I am already experimenting with classical music and I think it helps (usually I listen power metal or fast trance… NOT good for relaxing).
I also try not to do anything too stimulating late in the evening (like playing poker or exercising). This has definitely helped me sleep earlier.
What else could I do? Oh yeah, no tea or coffee for a while.

Is this really working???
I find my self waking up automatically at like 5:30, then at 8. does that still count??

Why is this so hard for me? Everytime my alarm clock goes off, I somehow turn it off and go back to sleep without myself even noticing. I know right?~
HELP ME!!
Okay, so I’m hoping to get up at 6 tomorrow.
I hope I actually do it though :)

This is definitely one thing I NEED to do. I always wake up late and have to rush to get ready for school. Wish me luck :)

Break those nasty habits!
Once the alarm goes off, get your butt out of bed. I used to set the alarm 15 minutes before I really had to get out of bed, but now I set it for when I need to get moving. That way, I can’t think, “5 more minutes!” I have to think, “Oh no! It’s already 8:00! I have to get moving!”
And if you have too, buy one of those snazzy alarm clocks that jump off the table and zoom around the room shrieking…
:D

I get up when my alarm clock goes off, or after one snooze almost every day. Well, everyday when I have school…I’m getting so sleep-deprived because I have so much homework, so I sleep in where I can…today I wanted to go to Valu Village before I met my mom for lunch, but I decided to sleep instead. Oh well, probably for the best!

I’m really, REALLY bad at this now. Two days in a row I’ve set my alarm (two of them) and turned off both, gone back to sleep, and woken up late. I think I just need to go to bed earlier…However, I do forget what day it is almost every morning…which is bad as well.
Boooooo
