get over this cold

well i was sick and now i’m mostly not…its on the way out anyway

the docotor tells me my throat AND ears are inflammed and puts me on penicillin… take that dad (“are you really sick or are you just being lazy?”)

This sucks, i started feeling awful on christmas day, and its not the kind of cold that is obvious to those around me either, i’m not coughing or sneezing, just chills, aches and sore throat. i’m supposed to back at work, some holiday.

I’m almost guaranteed a cold for the next 6 months or so of my life.
Considering how crazy my nose has become with pregnancy, this is probably a GOOD thing!

Even the lingering cough has mostly gone away. Thank you to everyone for all their care and good wishes! :o)

I really hate being alone when I’m sick. Probably stems from the time when I was working in Germany when I was very very ill, too ill to get out of bed, and had no-one to mind me, and my friends didn’t realise how sick I was and didn’t come and see me for almost a week. (I’m looking for sympathy here, can you tell? :-p ) Anyway, even when I only have a cold, I want my family and friends to call me or text me at least twice a day to see how I’m feeling and make sure I’m not dead or anything. (When they’re sick, I call them all the time and remind them to take vitamins and stuff and worry about them. I’m sure they find it terribly annoying.) I want to be fussed over and reminded to take my medicine and asked how I’m feeling and told I’ll be better soon. Ridiculous and childish, I know, but I can’t help it. I wish there was someone to come and mind me.

I think I can finally wipe this off my list… something happens.
I caught the wicked fairy’s manflu. It’s DREADFUL. Bah. At least i feel semi-human today, which is good, since I have apottery class tonight!

I have a head cold and a nasty cough, and even though I know it’ll go away in a few days and it’s insignificant compared to what some people are suffering, I’m feeling pretty miserable :(

Finally feeling better!! I thought that I’d never stop coughing and sneezing…

I’ve been coughing up my lungs, it seems, my nose is runny and I’ve been just dizzy and sick-feeling… Ugh. I can’t wait to feel better!
