How I did it: This is my third time doing weight watchers. Each time before I have lost about 20 pounds, but then relapsed and gained it back within a few months. I just had to stop being so lazy and start again. The first month of so of weight watchers feels like you're starving yourself, and I have been on it for a week now, so it kind of sucks. How I did it: I signed up for the monthly pass, which is $39.95 per month. It offers so much - supportive weekly meetings with great tips and advice, a comprehensive eating plan and a wealth of information on the website. I also love that I will only be getting weighed there, once a week, because it encourages me to work toward a regular goal. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I ordered all the material today so I can do WW at home. The meetings are too far away. I will get the material in 1-2 weeks time. I really need to loose weight. Read how I did it…

How I did it: to start with, to get over my fear of the expense, my work will reimburse my cost if i follow through. i must follow for ten weeks and show the expected weight loss. So my $166.70 for a year will be paid back! secondly i know it works, I've done it before and lost thirty pounds. so i have confidence in the program. I have a really crazy schedule that fluctuates from week to week, so i do the on-line version. Read how I did it…

So I went to WW, and they gave me some info. I think I’m going to do it. It’s way more money than I want to spend but I can quit anytime. And I think this is going to be worth it. So either tomorrow or after I get my next paycheck I’m going to sign up.
Wish me luck!
So I was planing on going to a WW today and ask a few questions and find out what would be best for me. It’s more than I want to spend I think so I was hoping they have a special going on. But my cousin has been on WW for a few months now and its made a huge and wonderful difference.
We’ll see what happens!

so, despite my knowledge that weight watchers works i have put off joining because it’s not necessary. i can’t see stretching my budget any further. so i have been semi-successful at just doing it myself. But i was very pleased to see, yesterday while reading my pamphlet, that my new job will reimburse me 100% if i qualify and join, and loose. they way i did so well before was that i had the palm software and could just enter in my food, wam bam, that was all. So i think today i am going to ask my clinic manager about what allows someone to qualify. sweet
Had to try several times until I saw the message about no spaces, numbers, etc in the user name, etc.

but it’s just not for me. I did lose some weight but I’m shy and felt lonely at the meetings. I also felt fatter than everyone else and the weekly weigh-ins were a constant stress, if the scale didn’t show a big enough weight loss for me my whole week was ruined. I already had an unhealthy relationship with weight and food and the constant focus on weight and food made it much worse. I ended up not eating any solids for a few months and stopped going to the meetings, I ended dropping a ton of weight anyway (not eating does that to you). I need to lose weight again and have already lost quite a few pounds but I’m not going near the WW this time!
♥♥ Rissa ♥♥ should start logging on here more again
I did this once before when I was about 13, and it worked really well, until I got unbelievably impatient. I quit, developed an eating disorder and everything went to pot. I ended up gaining everything back in the end. So today, right now, I’m signing up for weight watchers online. Because honestly, of all the things I’ve tried between then and now, its the only one that really worked. Lets hope that in this case the second time is a charm and there need not be a third.

I will be using it’s online point tracker and learning more about that. Interesting program.

I may check this out at 11:00 tomorrow. (Writing this as more of a reminder to myself than anything else…)
My goal is to lose 12 pounds in the next 6 weeks.
Shakespeare's Girlfriend is excited to see what happens to her in 2009!
I’ll use the extra money each month to buy healthier (and higher quality) food.
