That is very wise endlessdark, it truly is. I have no idea whether you made that up or what.

Although I said that, I do not believe I must understand how I work to discover how other individuals work. I tend to predict others’ actions and thoughts easily and come up with counters to them to make them feel better. Sadly, I can’t do that for myself because I find a flaw in my reasoning and fall farther down.

Contradicting my last paragraph, I do NOT understand others, I just know what their reactions will be, I do not know why or what they are thinking.

The reason why I am here is because I need to learn to stop judging people. I have a really hard time with this because I believe I have an aura and can automatically feel what people I will click with and what people I will not click with. It is usually true. I guess what I hope to do is to learn not to judge others and accept them for who they are. I think in order to do that I have to fully learn to appreciate and validate who I am. I had a below average childhood full of abuse, neglect, and sexual molestation and in the middle of it I think my self was trying to grow. I think I need to rediscover those parts of me that were taken away. I know I need to learn to love myself in order to fully love others. I am tired of dismissing others and seeming stuck up. I hope you all can help me through this process as I need all the help I can get.

first try to understand yourself… only then you can understand other persons…

I have another goal to be less judgmental.I feel that understanding other persons is a part of that goal.So i drop this goal

Human beings are too complex, are nt they?It is difficult to fathom them?

i’m too sensitive, i can feel how other people feel, i can identify/be overwhelmed with others too easy. it is the other side of the same coin. once i get in touch with other’s feelings i can exactly tell why they behave on certain way.

of course it doesn’t mean i agree with everything. but i’m positive that the fear deep down is source of every afunctional (there is no bad) feeling and behavior.

Maturity comes with understanding.Most of the conflicts take place because we are either too lazy to understand the other person ,or we lack the energy or inclination to do so.Of course ,some conflicts do take place despite understanding.

Understanding others also requires a genuine interest in others.Finding what i like in others(Oh,there is so much) and reinforcing it.

you may feel others are unreasonable,others are arrogant,others are selfish,others are manipulative;but may be you are drawing your conclusions too fast,may be you are being judgmental.of course may be you are right but start with the assumption that in such a caes you are wrong unless proved otherwise.
