Crystal make believe, not war.
sitting on the floor. :)
I like sitting on the floor. But right now I should probably sweep the floor because it is covered with volcano dust.
i have always sat on the floor, not owning a chair, and find it to be not only joyous, but exhilarating. Go for it. ;)
season premiere of Grey’s Anatomy last night and I floor sat it all the way. I may have to totally rethink my tv habits
I was too tired and uncomfortable last night to do much of anything, so I watched a movie, despite the fact that it most certainly was not tv night! In my defense, however, I floor sat for the whole thing.
I rocked at this last night. being my “tv night”, I generally sit on the couch under numerous blankets and stare at the tv for a few hours. this time, I did two whole shows (ER and Desperate Housewives) on the floor instead (kept the blankets and staring parts).
to keep from going numb, I threw some stretching in there (an added benefit of floor-siting) and realized I could do a wide-legged forward bend which I had never previously been able to do? now, I’ve been doing yoga every morning for quite a few months and that could be responsible. But I’m going to chose to ascribe my new ability to some good floor sitting. that stuff really works!
as I’m wont to do, I’ve already taken this one to an extreme! I am 1 hour and 15 minutes into my first “floor sit”. many thanks to mikaela for providing ongoing entertainment in the form of witty electronic repartee to keep my mind off the ever-increasing numbness in my limbs.
“chairs are the devil!” say my hips. I love to read in the evenings on our comfy living room chair (right under the heat vent!) or on the bed, but I will make an effort to spend at least 30 minutes of that time on the floor from now on.
I have been quite obese for many years, and being able to get up and down from the floor seems like a small thing till you can’t do it!
