I would like to see “Surrogates” with Bruce Willis. Looks like a very good movie.

I either want to see “This is it” or something else.. lol. I need to decide before the week is over. I want to see the Michael Jackson documentary or “The Invention of Lying”.. I love you MJ, but the other movie looks more interesting to me. lol.

Last night i went and saw “Law Abiding Citizen” with Jamie Foxx and Gerard Butler in it. Very good movie.
Great movie. I was supposed to watch it weeks ago, but I was feeling too lazy. So I finally watched it last week and I loved every minute of it. Ok, Scarlett Johansson and Javier Bardem are incredibly sexy (not to mention the fantastic Penelope Cruz), but the movie was much more than that.
Fotoquimica in the aftermath
I used to do this back in my country. I just found out an independent-movie theater recently opened in my city and I think it’s a sign. Between that and the occasional Hollywood movie that’s worth seeing in the $3 theater I should be able to pull ti off!
to the Film Forum on West Houston last night to see Army of Shadows. The cinematographer for the movie was there and spoke briefly before the screening. I wish he would have spoke more, because the movie looked gorgeous and was lit interestingly. He used a lot of indirect exterior lights for interior scenes, and often had oblique shafts of light cutting through rooms. This film is stuck in my mind. This is a must-buy when it comes out on dvd. Jean-Pierre Melville is amazing.
this mission has been a success. Saw ‘Children of Men’ and ‘Pan’s Labyrinth’ this weekend. They were both awesome. The week before that, I saw ‘Apocalypto’ and ‘Curse of the Golden Flower’. Apocalypto was a rush. Curse was not. Before that, saw “Two or Three Things I Know About Her”, and also Renoir’s “The Rules of the Game’. Both very good, though godard really caught my eye. Beautiful flags of color throughout. Planning to see Iwo Jima and somethig else next weekend. So far, so good.
