strange that I try too hard and still try hard.

I think that it was very strange that my neighbor offered to let me use her lawn mower all full of smiles then she came back the next morening very much in a bad mood!

I also thought it was strange that I am so tired of fb that I dislike some of the people on there now and dont care if i ever see them again.

STRANGE and Odd things…
That I had a funny feeling all day because the kids had to give a presentation.
the strange thing is that i know good things are coming.
this weekend we have nothing much planned, but I do want to go to Confession and have my sins forgiven.
the strange thing is that I dislike having to wait in line.
and they have it at 3 pm on a saturday.
so, that is the thing.

strange thing is how these ladies I know, they are all social and I am no good at that because I have to work and the kids have to do school work.
that we are always feeling behind.
so what huh?
we are lucky to be able to set our own pace.
we are not slaves to the school or work place.

since the kids got new instruments, they have been playing more alone.
not so much fun together in harmony or with me.
not sure if its just cuz of technique they were told to work on but…
it would be a calamity if they did not play harmony together again.
i mean, why would that be happening unless they were told not to practice together.
practice is one thing, playing is something else , practicing together for playing in little performances , that is good too.

very strange that a woman who I thought would be a good friend has turned out to be so annoying mainly because she is so full of herself…
that she has to dominate every single place she is at.

oh gee, the strange thing today was I feel that I have been so careful with money but then realize my cell phone bill is going to be 100 extra because my suspended ( LOST) phone got un suspended.
STRANGE that they just cannot take that off my bill but I accept it, my fault for not calling in sooner.

TODAY IT WAS really strange how on the JOB I have been targeted( it seems) because people are bullies or have no one else to take things out on! I know I am not the only one who has that kind of job.
Things seem to be getting so much worse though.

I have a theory that so many people exist ONLINE only and so to do this , for them, is the equivalent of kicking the car, or the dog…

I forgot to record a strange thing from Friday.
we went to the clinic cuz my daughters eye hurt.
they started the appt then disappeared for 30 mins while we were just in there, the air getting stuffy.
so i opened the door and asked anyone I could where ” she” went.
and… she had been stuck with a needle earlier so they had to deal with that but no explanation.
also very strange that my daughter took a vision test and her eyesight seems really blurry.
she could not really read the eye chart.
so i made appts for both of them to have eyes checked at the end of the month.
strange that we had not noticed it before!
we get busy and forgot that?
so good came of that.
also strange is that someone with loud motorbikes seems to have moved in close by…
strange that I had no idea the building housed an apt.

I found it strange today that after Mass we decided to call and visit the ranch of someone we had met,...
we drove there because the website seemed as if it was very hotel like, open all the time type of thing.
well, we got there and the thing turned strange, the day did, because the owner told me some thoughts and feelings about the whole thing of the fund raising and how it was done that I apologised on behalf of someone else.
then we got through with all that,.
and…

it was not that good anymore.
we had thought she was a good contact person and evidently no more due to the bad manners of someone else.
so then we went to just look at the horses in case we wanted a trail ride and the horses were not in good shape.
So my kids felt really worried and are not sure what our job is. we are going to ask their riding teacher.
i do not wish any further involvement with so many people!
I do want to keep life simple and keep going fwd.
I told my kids we have to ask someone and keep it anonymous.
I dont want to spread talk,
but want to find out what you do in cases like that.
I feel bad too…

i find it quite strange that the kids teacher turned down a monthly Gig , they could make money.
I am thinking, I NEED MONEY for me and my kids and I am going to see if the store will allow us to play.
we need to think of a NAME.
I am going to ask God to help me with choosing a good name, the kids and I will choose the perfect name.

as many months as we can do.

the odd thing today was when I am on stage with the kids and their teacher, it seems that she does not want me there.

I have always wanted to play rhythm guitar!
and why not huh?
What is ODD is that i also LOVE to record us with my camera while we are playing, so I need to set up the camera in a better spot.

the odd thing yesterday was that
when we were hiking… i started wheezing.
my daughter banged her knee on the logs that are placed on the shortcuts..
and the kids short cut actually made us end up at the wrong spot. I had to walk really far then to get the car and up hills alone to bring the car to the rest of the gang.
we forgot about the pump at the top that we all could have gotten water at and I think that was Odd so my kids did not get enough water since the other fam did not listen to my advice and bring their OWN water.
So all evening we were so dehydrated and sometimes its hard to remember that is why you feel tired and drained.

There I was minding my own business, drivign back from a meetings. At Fountains Circel, I suddenly spotted an ENORMOUS spider on my dirver’s side external rear view mirror.

I started shaking and all I could think of tto do was to phone my business partner and tell her.

I then devised a plan to go to DH’s business premises so that he could remove the spider from the mirror. But the spider suddenly got agitated and crawled across the mirror, then onto the window, right near my face. I was barrelling down the highway, one eye on the spider and only half an eye on the busy highway, screaming all the while.

Finally, the HUGE spider decided to move again but this time the wind caught it and it blew off the window. 2 months ago

Johannesburg – A Kempton Park bookkeeper has been bitten on the face by a Mozambican spitting cobra while sleeping at a lodge in North West, it was reported on Tuesday.

A severe pain in his left eye woke Werner Bronkhorst, 25, at the Pilanesberg Game Reserve at the weekend. He heard a hissing noise and realised it was a snake, Beeld reported.

“You instinctively know it’s a snake. I felt it bite me again, on the eye, and I grabbed it and threw it to one side. I felt blood running down my face,” he told the newspaper.

He ran for help, pausing only to grab a packet of cigarettes, “because I knew I was going to need them”.

According to Bronkhorst, the snake also went after a water bottle and an empty cigarette box lying on the floor next to the bed.

“That snake wasn’t right,” he said.

According to Beeld, rangers captured the reptile and released it into the park.

Bronkhorst was admitted to the Ferncrest Hospital, in Rustenburg, where he was reportedly in a stable condition.

Professor Graham Alexander, a snake expert at the University of the Witwatersrand, said he suspected that Bronkhorst might have rolled onto the snake in his sleep, and frightened the animal.

“Snakes don’t just attack,” he said.

Dog ‘saved life’ of missing Polish girl Firefighters said the animal stayed with the child throughout the night
Firefighters in Poland say a small dog probably saved the life of a three-year-old who went missing from her home overnight in freezing temperatures.

The child, Julia, vanished on Friday and was found lying in marshes several kilometres from her house on Saturday morning, with the dog by her side.

She is now in hospital in western Poland, suffering from frostbite after temperatures fell to -5C (23F).

Firefighter Grzegorz Szymanski said the dog kept the child warm enough to live.

“For the whole night the animal was with the girl, it never left her. Remember, it was 5 degrees below zero and the child was wet,” he said, adding that the animal was the most important factor in the girl’s survival.
More than 200 people had searched for the child overnight. It is thought she spent hours wandering through the forest near her home in the village of Pierzwin.

Julia was found lying in marshland

Her parents had last seen the three-year-old playing in the backyard with the small black mongrel.

Pietermaritzburg – Precision flying by an army helicopter pilot helped save a man’s life after he was bitten by a puff adder while camping in the Drakensberg on Wednesday night.
Harro Tonsing, 57, is in a stable condition at St Anne’s Hospital in Pietermaritzburg. The correct reactions by his friends laid the foundation for his rescue after he was bitten on the foot while hiking in the uKhahlamba/Drakensberg Park.
“He is stable and doing well at the moment. He is under specialised care and receiving treatment,” said hospital spokesperson Shubnum Ismail.
Rescue team
After Tonsing was bitten, members in the group he was hiking with alerted the rangers of Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife. The rangers called the Mountain Club’s search and rescue team to assist about 16:30, just as the afternoon’s storm clouds started to form.
Rescue convener Gavin Raubenheimer said the mountain club then put together a combined rescue team with an Emergency Medical Rescue Services (EMRS) paramedic and three mountain club members. The team flew from Pietermaritzburg Airport by helicopter and arrived at 20:00, necessitating a difficult and dangerous night hoisting operation in a deep, closed-out valley at 2 300m altitude.
The mountaineers and paramedic were lowered near the cave in which Tonsing sheltered, and got him ready for a fast flight to Pietermaritzburg.
Raubenheimer praised the pilot, who had to dodge thunderstorms in both directions of the flight. “It was a successful operation which involved skilled flying by the SA Airforce.”

Puff adder venom causes severe pain, swellings, haemorrhages and nausea. Death is caused by secondary effects, like kidney failure. When the patient does not die, body tissue usually dies around the bite mark.
