define my own style

I’ve decided I need to be more daring. I want to put bows on all my clothes, and curl my hair, and wear dresses and skirts and things that are pretty and make me feel pretty.

Vivienne Westwood, Anthropologie, Metamorphose, h. Naoto, Putumayo, Angelic Pretty….. I WANT CLOTHES! XD

I love Vivienne Westwood, just so you know. Not everything she’s ever designed, mind you, but a lot of things. I especially love the Orbital. I got some Vivienne jewelery off ebay (in retrospect it’s probably some knock-off… ^^;) and one of the pieces arrived today. I love it!

Oh, and I don’t have a picture of them, but I bought a pair of red-and-white checked Vans shoes. I showed them to my friends and they said “oh, that’s so perfect! It’ll go with your… what was that other checkered thing you had?” I actually don’t HAVE anything else that’s checkered, though almost my entire wardrobe is red and/or striped. It was an interesting thing to know, that people associate me with red-and-white checks…

I’m gonna get all “gussied up” for the concert. The shoes, the ring, my new thigh-highs with the garter belt…(¯_¯)a why do I have all the accessories and none of the actual CLOTHES that I want to wear…..?

I love all different kinds of clothes, but I’m too lazy to actually find the style that’s right for me. I end up buying the same thing everybody else is buying just because it’s convenient. I want to have a more definate sense of style. I think by doing that I can start making the steps towards actually designing clothes instead of just imagining it.
