although I do realize that sometimes things are completely beyond my control and that I might lose this job no matter what I do, if everything is ok pay-wise and they proivde me with decent housing as per the contract, then there’s no reason why I shouldn’t keep the job and I really really need to!

Sure, the only person counting on my money is me, but there are also many people just waiting to laugh at me, to call me a failure and somehow humiliate my mother/father in the process so it’s absolutely vital that I at least complete my contract even if I/they don’t extend it. 2 years ago
