ChristineAreI feels energized after exercising!

Just found out I have it 10 months ago

And it sucks.
But at least I know why I used to have so many pimples (before going to a dermatologist), and why I gain weight so easiy. I’m just happy that I’m bringing put on this medicine to start my period, and that I’m going on birth control to regulate everything. I’m just taking one step at a time. :)

Pcos random 17 months ago

Hi, Im 19 and have pcos its really ennoying i just want to feel like a normal women so bad sometimes i feel like a freak and have been called that to im confused i feel angry most of the time.

I managed to get pregnant with a ton of progesterone shots and an IUI . . . would like to cure my PCOS (or at least minimize/ control it) so I could get pregnant again but this time without the hormone shots. They just made me a little wacky and emotional and would rather not do that again. If it’s meant to be for a 2nd time then it’ll happen- but I don’t want to force it again.

there must be a solution to this. i’m making it my goal to find it and share with other ladies for the sake of normal life.

i am constantly doing reseach on the topic but there seems to be no magic pill. i am on a contraceptive patch right now and this is all the treatment my doctor suggests. i don’t think it’s helping although my periods stabilized. i decided to look into the origins of the condition. a lot of literature says it’s genetical and my mom had something like that but her symptoms almost weren’t there. however, i also found an interesting perspective of a newage doctor on this. he says any gynecological disorders in women arise from us not accepting our femininity, not feeling it, us feeling unworthy of love, any emotional wounds and hurts from men, any bitterness towards men. so i decided to work on this spiritual, psychological aspect and see if it helps :)

i think regular way the gyno approaches this condition is ridiculous, she just gave me the patch and said do it for 6 months and see what happens. I am now looking into alternatives. First of all i am trying to figure out why i have this condition, what thoughts and patterns triggerred it to begin with. I think a lot can be ealed through spiritual growth and clearing up old negative energy reserves…

Just to share 2 years ago

Hi, everybody.

I was diagnosted with PCOS some time ago and after going with medications, and having no consistent effect, I decided to go for alternatives. It was all going fine with a low-carbohydrate diet, and then I had to stop it for some reasons. And that really had bad results. Let’s say it like this – I’m at the start point again.
One month ago I decided to “fight back”. And also to share my experience and see what will happen.
So, I’m starting it the “complex” way – diet, exercises and some nutrition supplements.
I’m walking 7 – 8 km each morning before work. Then I have some fruits for breakfast – mainly grapefruits and kiwi. I also have some apples during the day, if I really feel the need to have something sweet. Main idea is to get carbohydrates, but “good ones”, that can be easier worked out by the body. This also doesn’t make me hungry for sweet and doesn’t create the stress that “I shoudn’t eat this or that”.
Generally I try not to eat anything too greasy or paste. No big limitations, some preference to the soups, stews, chicken, white cheese (feta), eggs and a lot of vegetables. If I really need something sweet and it can’t go with apples ;) I take ice-cream :))
I’m also dancing every night at home, for some 40 minutes. It isn’t only a question of exercising, but also a question of pleasure. There is a greater chance to do this for looong time, if I like it. And I really like walking and dancing, so for now it works. The supplements that I take are: saw palmetto extract, vitex, fish oil, complex vitamines containing alpha-lypoic acid as well.
I shall do this for some four-five months and then report what’s happened.

Good luck to everybody!

Ovulation 2 years ago

Well there is no doubt even without testing that this cycle I have ovulated. I am now just hoping that the egg is viable and the sperm find it no problem. Then that the baby sticks, this has been my problem once i achieve pregnancy. So for the next two weeks I will be hopeful wreck. Then if i am blessed with a BFP it will be hard to keep a secret until at least I get into the 2nd trimester ( since first two pregnancies resulted in 1st trimester miscarriages.) I fill hopeful this cycle will work. Good luck to all of you ttc!
