I think , i may need to go there during day time , more often.
How to become a regular at a small local restaurant
How I did it: I don't even know how it happened! It wasn't until a new waiter got my order wrong and the cooks corrected him that I realized I was a regular.
Now I'm a regular at three different places that I'm aware of: McMennamin's on High Street, Maple Garden, and Barry's. At all of those places the waiters or baristas can predict my order or they know my name. It's a pretty cool feeling!
Lessons & tips: Smile, chat and tip. It also helps if you've ever worked in a restaurant, since you're more sympathetic towards other people who work in restaurants.
Resources: Though I already knew about the places I'm a regular at, a local listing of restaurants would probably be useful. I read the Eugene Weekly (weekly free liberal news magazine) and magazines like that have good restaurant reviews.

Afriend wanted to meet me at my house .I asked him if he would like to meet me at local restaurant .He was willing .We met at the restaurant .I liked the whole experience.
I think ,going regularly to a restaurant is a habit that requires some change in life style.
Tom Yum Tofu and Pad Thai Tofu. Spicy, please. Really spicy. Don’t be afraid. I can handle it. I want to sniffle and cry. I want to turn red and start sweating and beg for more water.
Mmm, yummy!
And I always have the same sweet server.
We are “regulars” at a little country / farmer restaurant about 2 miles from our farm. We always get the same table… the waitresses know us… they know how we like our coffee and that I don’t take lemon with tea… they know that I do take syrup and lemon with my fish… they know we like onions in our “home fries”... they know our kids want applesauce instead of coldslaw…
It is so wonderful to walk in and say “Hi!” to people there, to nod to people we don’t know but occasionally see and to have a few folks do the same to us.
And, I can wear my denim shirt and “barn boots” in to the place while sporting a “I’ve had a stocking hat on my head all day” hair-do and no one says a thing or even minds!
I found a few places, thanks to the Eugene Weekly and other random free papers. I’d like to check these places out, but I’d really like to do it with somebody else. If you’re interested in joining me and doing it as a team, let me know! ♥
“The Vintage” – 837 Lincoln St—Sounds like a cool place.
“Cafe Sienna” – On Campus—Breakfast anytime! I go there a lot, but I’m not a regular yet. ;3
“The Dog House Restaurant” – 195 E 17th—Cheap. All the ones from here down are just ones I picked out of the CHOW!! insert because they’re cheap and look kinda good.
“Muddy Puddle Cafe” – 151 W 7th Suite 105
“Perugino” – 767 Willamette—Went here on a date once. REALLY liked it. Should go back….
“Cityview Deli” – 45 E 8th—Also went here on a date. Also really liked it… Should go more often….
“The Village Idiot” – 980 Oak St—Sorry, but with a name like that I’ve GOT to go!!
“Sunnyside Up” – 116 NW 3rd St
My town has so many cool little restaurants. There are a lot of really nice spendy ones, but I want to find a restaurant with a quirk. Like maybe some place with a really weird name in a bizzarre location, or they only serve one type of food, or maybe it’s served a really interesting way…
There are a few places that have caught my eye, but nothing has really stuck with me yet.
