My sister is now 32 and really wants to have a baby, I’ve never really been supportive of her boyfriend and so never been supportive of her getting more serious with him. But over time I now realise that her boyfriend is really a decent bloke and does want the best for her. I’m happy to be supportive of her goal to have a child even though she is still pretty sick, and I’ll help her finanncially or in running around for her to achieve her goal. Hopefully the added plus will be it will help her get better in the long run as well, if nothing else it means I am closer to my sister which is benefit enough.

Well, my sister is coming to stay with me for a week or two (at least). She was having trouble remembering to take the meds that the doc prescribed, thinking they were going to “kill her”. Also she tried to hurt herself, so until the medicine can start working, she’s staying with me. I am happy and sad about this at the same time; happy to have my sister who I loves company, and sad that those are the reasons she is here. I really hope the meds the doc gave her will help. I’ll let everyone know in a week how it goes.

We still need to keep going to the doctor, till they figure out what helps her, but for now I am very happy that she has come partway out of that dark place of confusion she was dwelling in.
Thank you to everyone who sent their well-wishes this way :)

My sister has Chronic Fatigue and Fybrio Maylega (however you spell that), she has been sick for 11 years now (since year 12) and can’t work even part time, is in constant pain, doesn’t sleep well and has a crappy quality of life. There is no miracle cure for her but I want to do anything for her to help her get better.

Ok. I am taking her today to Mental Health Clinic near her college, if she will go. Please, if anyone sees this, pray or wish luck or whatever it is that you do, that this will be the right place that can get her on the path to recovery. Even if you don’t send me anything, just a good thought my way, might help somewhere down the road.

She has signed up to see the counciler at her college, and to see a docter.

Well…I found out some things going on in my sister’s life, that prolly aren’t helping her too much. But in all our talking, she agreed she’d go to the docter if I made an appt.

Its strange how things work out; last night I was preparing myself mentally to pack a bag and go stay with her a few days till she seemed better, and this morning when I talked to her she seemed almost completely there. For now, that is a good start.

Everything else I put as goals seems trivial compared to this one.
