Ive just become a weight watchers member last wednesday and am very willing to finally gain my “dream weight” and get healthier eating habits. I know I can do it, but I also know that its gonna be hard for me to stick to a goal – I usually break my habits and set goals :( But thats why I became a Weight Watchers member, to get a kick in the ass from other members :D So I hope it will help ;) Now I just have to stick to the rules ;) Already had some hard beginning days as its Easter and my parents are visiting me. Today was bad, very very bad, but Ill write it down into the assistant, no matter how many points it will be :o 14 months ago
I gained two pounds! I have never done that on WW before. HOwever, it’s not a mystery to me. I know that I splurged too much this weekend—went over my weekly points value. But, I made some of the “skinny soup” (the 0 points veggie soup) and have been eating a lot of 94% fat free popcorn when I need to munch, so that has helped me to keep my points values down. I’m confident I will lose this week. 17 months ago
I did pretty well this week, although it was a little tough this weekend with a lot of time off and eating out. I think I’ll lose a couple of pounds still though. 17 months ago
So, I lost 3 pounds in the first week. I’m out of weekly points as I went out to dinner last night and had a cocktail, wine, and dessert. So, I have to stay disciplined today and tomorrow while I’m off. I find it’s so much easier during the work week. I’ll just have to seek out some healthy snacks… 17 months ago
Ended up spending every single one of my weekly points this first week as yesterday was the Steelers playoff game and I was drinking beer and eating wings. So, I am going to stay perfectly within my daily points today and I’ll get new weekly points tomorrow. Truly, it really isn’t hard at all when I use WW! I’m eager to see what I lost when I weigh myself tomorrow. I think I’ll be down 2 pounds. 17 months ago
Yesterday was my big day for using points as I had dinner at my friends’ house with wine, pasta, ice cream, etc. I still managed to have 4 weekly points left when it was all said and done, however, and my weekly points renew on Tuesday, so overall I feel pretty good about it. I ate lighter during the day leading up to dinner,so that helped—a big salad lightly dressed with roasted turkey and fruit when needed. I need to find time to add yoga into my routine this week. 17 months ago
Still easy, still going strong. I went out to dinner tonight and had a couple glasses of wine and a couple bites of dessert and was only 6 points over (for the day, I still have 43 weekly points) because I got a salad for dinner. Ordinarily, I would have probably had the pork with the whipped sweet potatoes and my own dessert! But, I didn’t feel deprived at all. I love that I can still have treats as long as I balance it out. 17 months ago
I got back to counting my points today. It’s crazy how easy it is! So, I feel great about it because I know that I can lose the 10 pounds that I gained back over the past few months. The amazing thing is, I ate yummier foods today than I do most days because I planned ahead and made a lovely salad for lunch, made sure to eat breakfast, and now I’m waiting for a veggie pizza to finish cooking. I got on the WW website today and poked around a bit. I familiarized myself with the new PointsPlus 2012 system, so I’m ready to go tomorrow when I resolved to begin again. I even found myself eating healthier today without really trying, so I can see how I’m somewhat subconsciously making smarter eating decisions. 17 months ago
