Went on WW in march and lost 24 lbs, but gained 11 lbs back :( I really want to get back on it so I think for lent I’m giving up going over my allowed points, sugary drinks, & alcohol.

Getting my body back after baby... 2 years ago

Okay, so I’ve procrastinated long enough and have finally accepted that I’m not one of those women where the pregnancy weight just melts off… Shed a tear for me! :)

So… starting today, I’m starting weight watchers and I’m going to start a schedule at the gym. Just to give you a little background on me, I’m 28 years old… I’m barely 5’0 tall and I weigh 156 pounds right now. Prior to my pregnancy, I weighed about 138. (still more than I’d like…) My ideal weight is around 115. That is where I was in college and just after… What I miss most about being that weight is just not worrying about my body… I didn’t think I was a super model, but I just didn’t worry about it. My clothes fit fine… I wasn’t appalled at the thought of going to the beach or putting on a pair of shorts… I just don’t want to have to worry about it anymore.

My beautiful son is 5 months old and I LOVE being a mother… but I want to be the best Mom that I can be, and that includes feeling good about myself. I want to enjoy going out and doing things with him without being self conscious… My husband is truly wonderful and loves me regardless of my weight, but I’m sure he’s sick of me being so self-conscious. He deserves a wife that is happy with herself…

So, I’m going to stick with this… its not going to be easy. I love food and I don’t love exercise, but I’m committing to this right now. Good luck to you all!! :)

I am just getting back onto WW today. I did it last October/November and lost 10 pounds or so but then Thanksgiving happened. I am really going to try to stick to it this time. Today is going to be kind of hard because we have no food in the house and I am not eating meat (I always get off meat over the summer). Good luck everyone.

I've been 2 years ago

An online member for a long time but recently I’ve fallen so far off the wagon. I know exactly how it happened too. It was so much easier when I was eating fast food all the time (which is messed up) but that was because all of the foods are listed on there. Now that I have sworn off all fast food and almost all going out to eat I cook all of my own food. At first this was a good trade off and the weight started coming off without keeping track of the points, now that I cook more interesting meals it seems to be coming back! So back on the wagon I go!

just started again a year later.... 2 years ago

My problem isn’t staying on it, hell I did a cleanse where I drank a special lemonade only (with no food) for over a week I can do this…. it’s just I can’t lose weight!

It doesn’t matter if I’m vegitarian, on weight watchers, or cut out junk food entirely, I’ve never been able to lose weight!

I only need to lose about 25 lbs in my opinion..I’m 166 lbs, 5’5” ....should it be this hard? Maybe I need to start excercizing more again, but as it is I spend the whole day on my feet…. beh.

Haven't been doing this.... 2 years ago

I’ve been terrible about this even though I think WW is a great program. But it’s not worth the money to me right now. I”m going ot have to work on my diet/weight loss goals on my own til I can stick with it for a while and maybe make it worthwhile to reactivate WW.

Workplace Weight Watchers 3 years ago

I bought the desired Vera Wang.
We’ve chosen the venue and set the date!
Workplace WW restarts today.
I’m going to sign up and stick to this diet!

If I get hungry, instead of nibbling on cr*p, I am going to organize my yarn and roving stash since my apartment is starting to look like the USS Enterprise rife with Tribbles.

Stuck to it for a whole month 3 years ago

It was the most miserable, hungry month of my life. Absolutely the worst diet I’ve tried. Any diet is going to give you cravings, but a good diet should not make you be hungry 10 minutes after your meal. That being said, if you can turn vegan, this diet is great for you since you can eat as many plants as you want. But you can only have something like 3 bites of meat per week (seemed that way to me…chicken aint meat).

Restarting yet again... 3 years ago

It’s sort of embarrassing to admit it, and I almost just quietly deleted this goal but I need to be responsible. I still haven’t lost any significant weight. I go through phases of eating slightly better, then times of eating really junky. My weaknesses are convenience and fast food, candy and Coke. When I cut them out all together I feel horrible and deprived, but I have a hard time moderating them.

But I can’t stand looking and feeling like I do right now, so SOMETHING has to change. So I’m taking another go at it. WW has worked well for me in the past when I’ve stuck to it. The problem is staying motivated long enough to see real results….
