vicariously happy 
How I did it: I noticed this and having followed tangerine_now's story and rejoiced in her happiness about the pregnancy and the babies, I joined in.
However, as often is the case, I 'participated' a little from the sidelines and not actively and creatively.
I kept on thinking that I should have done more, but I was really happy about new beginnings, heart sore relieved, and the joy of a cherished dream coming to reality. Read how I did it… 2 years ago

A Bright New day
This is the beginning of a new day.
I have been given this day to use as I will.
I can waste it, or use it.
I can make it a day long to be remembered
for its joy, its beauty and its achievements,
or it can be filled with pettiness.
What I do today is important because
I am exchanging a day of my life for it.
When tomorrow comes this day will be gone forever,
but I shall hold something which I have traded for it.
It may be no more than a memory, but
if it is a worthy one I shall not regret the price.
I want it to be gain not loss, good not evil,
success not failure.

On November 17 last year a new life started for me, even though I was not aware of it at the time. At the time I thought something else, a life I had wanted for a long time, was closed off for me. On November 17 I took the last step of that dream life, I thought, and prepared myself for a different path. As it turned out I didn’t need to cross the wastelands of Coming To Terms in order to reach the town of Stronger Than Ever but I will never forget that point in my life where it seemed like all was stripped bare. Let’s call it the Turning Point. Or: a Bright New Day.
It’s a year onwards and I think this would be a good day to think of all my hopes and dreams over the years, those ending in success but also those that never materialised, and be grateful (or, if you will, thankful) for the meandering way that life takes me to unexpected territory.
You may use the analogy of the closing door and the opening window, or laugh at the trickster – it doesn’t matter. What matters is that we are Very Much Alive, and today is a Bright New Day.
