shark dive

This one wasn’t too high on the list, but the reality is that I will most probably do this within the year. Our Director of Marine Biology is a shark specialist who is pushing big to take his program in depth. We have two cages and will be taking over maintenance of a DEP/NOAA Research Diving Vessel with the intent of open ocean labs time in the water with sharks. Fortunately, this same Doctor has pioneered a working shark repellant that is now commercially available. Good Stuff, so I will most probably do at least a few shark dives, if only because I can.

Love to do this one day

I just want to do this because it would mean conquering my biggest fear. I’m absolutly terrified of sharks and therefore don’t really go into the ocean when I get the chance. I’m hoping this would change that fear.

Alright so last year I went sky diving and it was a rush of a life time and we still joke that it was insane, but I feel that we need to do something more! And shark diving is it, and here in Southern California we have some of the best water to do it in, and animals to expreience, I want to dive with whites, I have since I was a little kid, but now I think I want to make it a reality. But also South Africa would be awesome, I think I’d rather do South Africa than California, would make the adventure that much better.
