Grow some balls

I’m a tough chick! yeah. you know when i first added this to my list i felt like the biggest wuss in the world but i’m not. telling myself to have some courage always made me push myself into doing anything. ..like actually going to the doctors appointments i make, swerving through traffic (hah), standing up for a girl on the eL when a very scary bum was harassing her, and today, being able to tell off a guy i was into after he ignored me for a month. i freakin’ rule. i’m very proud of myself.

I was walking my dog yesterday, came across a bridge in the park and thought to myself, “I wonder if I could jump that gap?”
Having grown a set of balls I decided to try it there and then, bad idea. I slipped, ended up hanging off the gap with my feet skimming the water, trying to drag myself to safety. It was a stupid thing to do. My hip is pretty bruised but luckily there was no one about to witness the idiocy. Looking back, I’m happy I did it, it ended badly but it’s kind of funny.

Yeah I think I’m growing a set, and with the introduction of “Say yes more” in my 43 things, I’m going to mark this one as done.

Alright, a little bit smashed right now so bare with me. As I was leaving a club tonight the guy beside me was hit by a flying piece of paper. He turned to me, “what the fuck?, you fuckin hit me with that fuckin thing?”. He was properly aggressive and very in my face. Should I have been equally aggressive and in his face, or should I have just let it go as I did, “mate, it wasn’t me that threw that at you.”?
The thing that messed me up was that this guy was a fuckin twat just lookin for a fight. If I was living by the “grow a set of balls” mantra, should I have just thrown myself into a fight with him? Yeah I probably should have. Damn it! Lesson learned. In future, twats who square up to me, regardless of the consequences, I will get into a fight!
I’ll let you know how it works out.

Didn’t really weigh up my consequences when I emailed my tutors asking if I can put a halt on my studies until next year, we’ll see how that pans out.

Met up with the girl had a great day. Went in for the kiss, all is great. It’s a good mentality.

Call a girl, don’t be afraid of a fight, don’t care what some random strangers think of you, get involved, talk to a stranger.
Don’t always way up the consequences.

Tired of letting others walk all over me and sacrificing my happiness for others who make my life miserable if they don’t get their way..
