Go to a World Cup game

I was in Germany for 2006. It was amazing watching the entire world descend upon one place like that. My friends and I watched many of the games at fan festivals in various cities, and also attended one of the games in Hamburg. Great trip, awesome way to spend a birthday, and definitely an experience I will never forget.

I’ve been to the world’s largest soccer stadium in Rio de Janeiro to watch Rio finals. I’ve seen the USA national team play in the U.S. I’ve seen Manchester United play against Club America in Los Angeles. I’ve also been to Stadio Azteca in Mexico City…but I’ve never been to a world cup…

omg this is something i’ve recently thought about doing. my goal is to go to south africa in the 2010 for the world cup.

One of the best experiences of my life. I spent the whole month of the world cup in Germany and went to all the US games. I highly recommend going if possible. Seeing soccer on a world scale is unparalleled.

South Africa 2010 Here I come.

I’m finally going to my first professional soccer game in August, but I still need to go to a World Cup game. The energy that persists in the crowds is amazing. I’d prefer an Argentina game. Ireland, England, or Australia would be cool too.

I wasn’t in the stadium, but I was in the CITY where it was, and watched it on the big screen downtown! It was SOOOOOOOOO awesome with all the people screaming and cheering! Unfortunately Germany lost, so there wasn’t a whole lot of celebration afterwards, but I also went to 2 other games (in Cologne) and for those ones it was totally awesome too. Of course this goal was kind of easier for me since I live in Germany.
