dare

I’m feeling quiet inside, not wanting to prove anything at all!! I’m taking perhaps a much softer approach to doing things… so I dared to relax with it all!!!

There’s always something to dare more, but I check this off my list now since I have already dared to do all those things from my list. And I think that daring isn’t anymore such a big issue for me.

Yesterday I talked spontaneously with some strangers. Well I was drunk, but it was still something that I don’t normally do. It was nice thought :) And today I talked with some old man in the elevator in our house :) Old people aren’t that bad after all.

It would be nice if I would have courage to talk in my classes with some new people since I don’t know people from there.

Caged Bird, Maya Angelou

A Free bird leaps
on the back of the wind
and floats downstream
till the current ends
and dips his wing
in the orang sun rays
and dares to claim th sky.

But a bird that stalks
down his narrow cage
can seldom see through
his bars of rage
his wings are clipped and

But a caged bird stands on the grave of dreams
his shadow shouts on the nightmare scream
his wings are clipped and his feet are tied
so he opens his throat to sing.

The caged bird sings

nourishes the heart

behind the iron walls
that keep the bird caged

and the bird then dances

I dyed my hair today. It supposed to be red (terracotta) but it’s more like brown to me. Oh well. When doing it yourself, you never know what to get. But my dare has completed anyway :)

Now I only have on my dare list those fencing lessons and those will happen next week. Yay!

I got today on the school this idea that I really need to get my hair short today. And since I usually do stuff for the moments of impulsive thought, I took scissors and cut my hair myself :D I think that I did good job :D

Next step is to dye it red.

We had logic practicing yesterday and I was all the time talking there and telling the right answers. I wouldn’t want to be the one who says the answers every time, but since nobody else dared/knew I had to. And the professor realized too that I know and dare to talk so he asked me when nobody else didn’t know :D And he named me “Math Student” (cos he didn’t know my name) :P Of course I corrected that I am not sudying math even I am in Faculty of Mathematics and Science.

Well it was fun :) And those logic lessons are so fun too!!

Well update to my dare list:

* Take the piercing
* Take fencing lessions even if my friends chickens from it
* Speak up in the Philosophy classes

I dared to prove true that thing I have been told every foreign friend I have; there’s nothing sexual in sauna. So I went to sauna with two guys, neither of them aren’t any related to me, neither of them aren’t my boyfriend. And I was totally naked and so where they. And there wasn’t anything awkward or sexual in the air. I hadn’t done that before. And honestly it was a bit hard for me cos I wasn’t sure what they would think. I don’t have nothing shamed in my body and there’s nothing weird of being naked in front of people. So this was one dare done!

But I actually have two more big dare now that came up:
*I want to dare to talk with him
*I want to dare to maybe even ask him out _{(though I wish he would ask me first!)}

They are lovely creatures. (some types!)

It was an amazing touching and taking photos with them. Try it, you will like the feeling of touching them.
