design and sew my own clothes

It sits there untouched for years. It was my mother’s and frankly I don’t remember when it was that I acquired it. My old one had broken so I needed one anyway. But it remains untouched.

I used to sew Halloween costumes. I did a good job on those. I’m thinking it might be harder to sew something that fits well and is meant to last more than one night. The material may have a lot to do with that. I wish I knew more about that sort of thing.

I could take a class but I think my first step will be checking to see if that machine downstairs even works.
