How to direct a show
It made me

How I did it: 1. Write a detailed play analysis of the play I wanted to direct.
2. Brainstorm!
3. Cast my actors.
4. Set up rehearsals and routines
5. Rehearse! Over and over again.
6. Design and Tech
7. Tell my actors they are doing fantastic, and hope for the best on opening night.
8. Bask in the glory.
Lessons & tips: Be organized. Use an online calendar.
Book spaces ahead of time.
Positive reinforcement.
Ask questions.
