visit Edinburgh

had a blast. loved it so much that i’m thinking i might move there next year…

i’m finally going next week! after promising one of my friends i’d visit her for the last 3 years…
i actually went to edinburgh for half a day on my way to t in the park 4 years ago (before my friend moved there) and thought it was a beautiful city, but obviously didn’t see much since it was such a brief visit – and also coz i was very hungover… anyway, this time i’m going for 4 days have booked into some gigs for the fest and am also catching up with another friend who has since moved there. there’s nothing like a good local tour guide to help you make the most of a place!

I went to Edinburgh for a week last month and had a great time. I really enjoyed just walking around the city, getting lost and finding my way again. I find that is the best way to get to know a new place.

I stayed in a house out at Musselburgh and got the train in and all was cool. The weather was pretty good too, only a few rainy days which is good by my standards considering I live in Northen Ireland.

All in all it was a great trip and I look forward to the next visit, maybe I’ll go there again next year :)

... and the people! The way they talk!

I love Edinburgh and go at least twice/thrice times a year. the people are eclectic but very warm and friendly, the nightlife is great and its a lovely walk around during the daytime. Plus the fringe festival is a highlight of the year, as is New Year in Edinburgh. I’m going again this year with my mates as we had such a class time last year! Go visit and share a taste of Scotland culture.

Lived there for nearly a year as a kid and went back to visit years later. Would love to visit again some day!

Edinburgh is my favourite city. Its just so beautiful. Thriving with culture there always seems to be something on, not only in the summer months with the Festival, Fringe, International Film Festival or the Literary Festival. At anytime of year Edinburgh is a great city to visit!

One of my favourite cities in the world, I was in Edinburgh for the very tail end of the Edinburgh Festival last year. It was beautiful and thriving and fun :) I’d love to go back soon.

Edinburgh is beautiful. The castle, people and the expierience.The cultural center of Scotland, enjoy! I will return!

And I’m certainly going back! (Next year, as a matter of fact!)
