make a window treatment trunk show

The trunk show was finished on time, and has already been presented twice, with another showing scheduled. So I’m calling it done, even though I will continue to add to it over the coming months. Yippee!!

Well, best intentions and all that. But at least I’ve got a start to it, and a REAL deadline too. I’ve already booked two presentations for the trunk show in September, so it had BETTER be done by then or my tush is mush!

Well, I had wanted to finish this by now, but at least I am getting underway! I have the sample board and mount done, and have fabric for making the samples. Next week I start fabricating samples! I’ve revised my due date to June 30.

I want to put together a “trunk show” of window treatment samples and ideas. With these samples, I will give little 20-30 minute demonstrations about window treatments and how they can enhance the home. I would like for clients to host these shows in exchange for discounts off future window treatment jobs. I figure I will need at least 20 different samples, of things like panels, valences, cornices and pillows. I want to accomplish this goal by the end of February 2006.
