I did not grow up in church, but then in my spiritual journey ended up in church for 20 years… now at a place where I’m searching again. I’m really sold on Jesus, just not on “churches”.
And just in case anyone is reading this, I’m not looking for the “perfect church” either, just something a bit more real and organic where it’s not about “being involved” which means greeting people at the door on Sunday. Being involved means something a lot more to me, and I am having trouble finding a community of Christians that really wants to live this way. And the ironic thing is I don’t think I can “find” them. I think it has to be something where we just kind of find each other.
